Well that about sums us up rather nicely. 23+ years ago, I was struggling to make ends meet. Starting a new job where the company didn’t have funds to pay me a consistent salary, I tended bar at the old Elmer’s Dog House in Aurora to make ends meet. At the same time, Jenny was waitressing there to make a few extra bucks of her own. We didn’t quite get along at the time. I, admittedly, was a bit of a jerk.

It didn’t take long before she found a way to deal with me and I became a less of a jerk. We became friends. And then we became best friends. Then we started dating. Along came husband and wife. And after that, father and mother (but still best friends).

So here we are, doing our best at raising our 2 children as a family. Life continues to test us each and everyday, bringing on new challenges. But we face them all together and find ways to adapt. I hope to use this site as a way to bring you the stories and pictures of our lives. Hope you enjoy them!
